The West Coast of the Lakes
About Us
Gosforth is an attractive village just off the main A595 road. Its rosy sandstone houses and white-washed inns lend it a warmth and welcome at any time of year. Good facilities, including a well stocked grocery store, a very good bakery (don't miss their pies) a cluster of pubs and an Italian restaurant. The village is the gateway to the Wasdale Valley which is only 10 minutes away.

The Cottage.
The house is a two up two down, ideal for couples. The heating is by night storage and will be set for the appropriate time of the year. The hot water is via an immersion heater and will be hot on your arrival.
Kitchen - The kitchen is equipped with a cooker, washing machine, fridge freezer, microwave, iron/ironing board.
Living Room - This has free sat TV, DVD player and a selection of DVDs, open fire – coal and wood is available to buy at the local garage, but we'll provide enough to get you going on the first day. If you don't have an open fire, give us a shout and we will light it for you. There are books/maps available and Dave can give advice on where to walk/cycle in the area.
Bathroom - The large bathroom has a bath with a 9kw electric shower and an airing cupboard. Two bath and hand towels are provided.
Bedroom - With a double bed, cupboard/drawers, clothes rack and hangers. A hair dryer is provided.
