Blengside Cottage is in the hamlet of Wellington, in the village of Gosforth, on the West Coast of Cumbria. It is on the main approach to the Wasdale valley, being only 5 miles from Wastwater and 8 miles from Scawfell Pike. It is also only 3 miles from the Irish Sea.
